ControlByWeb is a U.S.-based industrial controls company. Our mission is to simplify data acquisition and utilization for engineers, technicians, and system integrators in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) space. Our innovative I/O controllers make monitoring and controlling industrial equipment a simple task.

Our History
ControlByWeb began in 1999 as Xytronix Research & Design, Inc., a northern Utah-based contract engineering firm focused on instrumentation and control solutions. Over time the founders transitioned to manufacturing controllers in-house. They recognized the market’s need for simpler and more cost-effective remote monitoring and control. ControlByWeb was born with the launch of our flagship product, the WebRelay, in 2005.
True to our original vision of simplifying remote monitoring and control, we continue to offer an upgraded version of the WebRelay alongside a growing product line. This includes our best-selling 400 series PLCs that power a comprehensive range of modular and standalone I/O solutions.
